This map comes from page 647 of the book "Eisenhower at War 1943-1945" by David Eisenhower: The Russian Drive to the Oder, January-April 1945

Liegnitz, residence of Bertha Dudde, lies east of Dresden and west of the Oder River, there where the course of the Oder River comes together with front line of February 4, 1945. Breslau lies on the Oder River, east of Liegnitz.

Both cities, Liegnitz and Breslau, are in Silesia.

According to the map Liegnitz was conquered by the Soviet troops between the 4th of February 1945 and the 7th of April 1945.

Breslau lies on that line, which the Soviet troops reached on February 4, 1945.
